Vinification
Produced from grapes grown in the superb 2018 vintage. Harvested using only optically sorted grapes, then fermented on the skins using the pulsair and macerated for 14 days. After pressing, conducted malolactic fermentation and aged in French oak barrels for 18 months before blending and bottling.
Taste
A deep and intense garnet colored gem. Aromas of black cherries, blackberries, dried herbs, spices and smoke. Full-bodied and dry, it offers juicy, complex flavors of black cherries, spices and a warm, smoky finish.
Cocktails and pairings
Serve with a coffee and cocoa rubbed beef tenderloin, hearty chili or smoked pork chop.
