Vinification
Hugues de La Guéronnière uses a classic vinification process and a long maturation in oak barrels, 12 months. It benefits from the French AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) label and the European AOP (Appellation d’Origine Protégée) label.
Taste
Fresh with crisp tannins, wine with complex aromas, 15 years of ageing.
Château Chatain is a dry red wine from the Lalande de Pomerol appellation. It belongs to the category of still wine. Its characteristics are a fresh attack, an elegant, round and full flavor and a brilliant ruby color. The bottles will be kept lying down. The wine will be served at room temperature (17 or 18°C) and after a certain age, it will be decanted in order to separate the venerable nectar from the natural deposits caused by time.
Cocktails and pairings
Château Chatain goes remarkably well with red meats and cheeses.
